ABOUT THE BIRDING
Carlos Botelho State Park preserves a tract of Atlantic Forest on the Serra do Mar escarpment. The habitat is similar to Intervales State Park and the birds are therefore also similar. It's a convenient place to stop when driving to Intervales from Sao Paulo or sites south of Curitiba.
LOCATION OF SITE
Carlos Botelho State Park is located 14km east of Abaitinga, which is about 90km and some 2 hours drive from Intervales State Park.
