TOUR NOTES
Tour price is based on number of nights. The posted price assumes arrival on Day 1 of the tour and transferring directly to Thimphu. Bhutan's Sustainable Development fee is currently $100/day. It will increase to $200/day beginning Sept 1, 2027 unless the government extends the current temporary reduction.
ACCOMMODATIONS
During our extended Bhutan birding tour, we'll be staying in comfortable hotels wherever available. Some remote sites do not have hotels nearby, and at those sites we'll stay in rustic lodges or possibly tent camps. The latter are necessary around Tingtibi, Panbang, Nganlam, and Yongko La.
