ABOUT THE BIRDING

Gibb's Farm is a working farm near Ngorongoro Crater. It grows organic coffee, vegetables, and fruit. It's a convenient stop between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro, as it's located mid-way between the two. The farm is nestled among forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and has lush vegetation on the property that attracts numerous bird species. A number of trails lead into the forest, where it's possible to find Elephant as well as birds.

Gibb's Farm is located 5 km from the village of Karatu, midway between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.
