A deposit of $300 is required at the time of registration for tours to Central America. A deposit of $500 is required at the time of registration for tours to South America.
Payments are refundable until 90 days prior to departure with the exception that any non-refundable deposits made to hold rooms, purchase airline tickets, etc. on the participant's behalf are not refundable. Thereafter, the following policy applies:
If the participant arranges for an acceptable substitute to fill the slot or if the tour is over-booked, all payments are fully refundable unless subject to a service charge (see below). Otherwise, between 90 days and 60 days prior to departure, the initial deposit is non-refundable but all other payments are fully refundable unless subject to a service charge. Within 60 days of departure no refund is available.
Payment should be made by check, money order, or bank wire transfer. Master and Visa cards are accepted but not encouraged. Credit card payments for tours priced and conducted by a land agent, as noted on the tour pages, are subject to a 5% surcharge. All refunds for payments made by credit cards are subject to a 5% service charge.
