ABOUT THE BIRDING
Laguna Alalay on the southeastern edge of Cochabamba is a worthwhile birding site. Much of the lake is covered by native vegetation, with reedbeds especially on the eastern side. Hillsides east of the lake behind the country club are also worth birding.

Laguna Alalay is located on the east side of the town of Cochabamba.
