ABOUT THE BIRDING
Cerro Tunari is a high elevation site in the Cochabamba region of central Bolivia. It features Polylepis forest habitat and is home to high elevation species such as the rare Short-tailed Finch and the near endemic Bolivian Warbling Finch. The elevation at birding sites is mostly above 4270m (14,000ft).
LOCATION OF SITE
Cerro Tunari is located in Tunari National Park. The village of Tunari is in the Cochabamba region about 45km (1½ hours) from Cochabamba.
