ABOUT THE BIRDING

Pook's Hill is a 300-acre private nature reserve that offers accommodation in small circular cabinas and wonderful lowland broadleaf forest birding. The access road into the reserve offers some fine roadside birding, while the numerous trails and open areas within the reserve afford excellent opportunities for seeing both rainforest and open habitat birds.

LOCATION OF SITE

Pook's Hill is a private bird sanctuary located about an hour west of the Belize International Airport not far off the Western Highway in the Cayo District of Belize.
