Most of day making photographs of birds in Soberania National Park, including Gamboa area and along Plantation Trail. Mid-day visit to Miraflores Locks to photograph ships going through the locks.

Morning making photographs of birds in the forests of Metropolitan Nature Park in Panama City. After lunch checkout and transfer to the Caribbean side of the isthmus, stopping en route to photograph birds. Arrive at lodge by dinner.

Morning photographing birds in the forests around the lodge and hummingbirds at the lodge feeders. After lunch transfer to Albrook Airport for flight to David in western Panama. Transfer from David to lodge in Volcan.

All day photographing specialty birds in Chiriqui Highlands. Birds of special interest include Resplendent Quetzal, Long-tailed Silky-Flycatcher, a variety of highland hummingbirds, cotingas, trogons, and tanagers.
